Clergy / Staff
Deacon Elliott is a cradle Episcopalian, and a member of St Peter's since 1982. Since ordination in 1998, he has served on the diocesan Anti-Racism Commission, Chicago Episcopal Cursillo Secretariat, and the Deacons’ Formation Committee.
As a layperson, he had been a delegate to Diocesan Convention, a member of the Vestry, and was one of the original trainers in what is now the diocesan Keeping God’s People Safe program against sexual abuse of children.
He is a probation officer working primarily with DUIs, but for 10 years worked with domestic violence offenders. He is a steward for Teamsters Local 714.
